Changing navigation bar colour and removing search function

Hi everyone, i’ve been working on the buildcon template for a website (https://tacticalessentialservices.com).
How do I alter the colour of the navigation bar — with the logo colour being dark, its not really visible with the default black opacity bar.

I’ve tried looking in the Theme Options colour options but dont see an option for the nav-bar.

My second question is about the search icon (the magnifying glass) – how do i remove that button?

Any help appreciated!
